Steve Schmidt is really going to have to rethink his decision to forego any sense of decency within the John McCain campaign and simply throw recycled, made-up crap at Barack Obama.
That tactic only really works when the mud you throw is real, or has fully sunken in and been accepted by the public or hasn't been fully and publicly debunked a thousand times.
You really can't use dried up mud. Just doesn't stick.
Oh, yeah... And Your Guy has to be perfectly clean and unsullied as well, and not have a whole lot of true items in the closet that you really don't want to have splashed across the media thirty days out from the election.
